Loughin Farm is a small breeding farm about 1 hour east of Cleveland Ohio. We started breeding Connemara
ponies in 1995. In looking for a breed that would suit both the adults and my children, the Connemara was the best choice.
They are gentle, easy to handle for young children, and talented enough to excel in any disicpline we have asked of them.
When my daughter Courtney, decided to go from eventing and pony club, to dressage, we were delighted to find that the Connemara
easily did the job. We have been lucky enough to obtain a lovely group of broodmares and have as much fun with the breeding
program as we do in our show ring travels.
